The Rise of the Breachborn!

It was just another ordinary day in 2050. In New York, life hummed along as usual until an explosion echoed from the sky. A strange tear in the fabric of space appeared near Jupiter, growing ever wider. NASA quickly dispatched a team of astronomers to investigate what was later dubbed *The Rift*.

The Breach

At first, the team was puzzled by the growing crack—its origin was unlike anything known to science. As the Rift expanded, strange cosmic readings began flooding in from the breach, and then, without warning, another cataclysmic explosion erupted from within. A shockwave rippled outward, destroying everything within a thousand-meter radius.

The Beginning of the End

As the dust settled, it became clear that something unprecedented was happening. From the Rift, a massive asteroid emerged. Scientists dubbed it “*Breach*.” The likelihood of the asteroid colliding with Earth was estimated at only 10%, but as days passed, the odds seemed to grow more inevitable.

Terraforming

When the asteroid, *Breach*, finally struck the planet, its impact devastated Earth, nearly wiping out all of humanity and animal life in a single moment. Cities were reduced to rubble, and the world was plunged into chaos. The global death toll was catastrophic. But in the wake of the destruction, something unimaginable began to unfold.

Creatures of the Rift

One week after the impact, the first signs of life from the asteroid began to appear. From the heart of the impact zone, monstrous creatures—*The Breachborn*—emerged. Towering, nightmarish beasts, they had arrived from the Rift, their forms twisted and unnatural, as if created by the very forces of the breach. Some were massive titans, capable of causing untold destruction, while others were smaller, faster creatures, adapted to hunt and survive.

Mutation and Evolution

But the impact didn’t only unleash the Breachborn. The creatures that survived the asteroid's impact were forever changed by the Rift's influence. Animals—once common, everyday creatures—began to mutate. Some grew to massive sizes, their forms distorted by the cosmic energy that surged through Earth. Others shrank into ferocious, hyper-adaptive predators, their senses heightened beyond any natural animal. But some couldn’t handle the immense power surge. As Earth’s ecosystem rapidly transformed, these mutated creatures became key players in the struggle for survival. The land that was once familiar became a battleground for dominance, as both mutated creatures and the Breachborn began to clash.
